ZERO BUENO & review

Here at this link is ZERO BUENO by Misti Rainwater. I have reviewed this briefly but contentiously. Please buy this book, fuck you all very much.

Zero Bueno, by Misti Rainwater, is the novel where she breaks with the USA & her past. The book describes herself as “no good” while it nevertheless shows that her abusive MAGA Texan parents, the ensuing cPTSD & her defective choice of partners were the only real issue. Misti is less cruel but I am fortunately a sadist so I have written about these ludicrous little men, especially Joe Pachinko (Dan Zero) & the Capricorn, the rapist Abel Romo from San Antonio, mocking the tiny limp penis of the one & the dead son & grandson of the other. These men were failures, & died miserably: other partners, however, were nonentities. Her husbands, therefore, are tellingly represented in the book as mere ciphers, failed engagements, & not in the matrimonial sense: they are mentioned but they do not manifest. I can explain what she says of me, it’s not just that she had never been fucked properly but she had never encountered beast. We are the fire into which we devolve, & we return. The humans have failed the test that Nietzsche knew himself to have failed, according to Deleuze. Goddess has declared them “zero bueno”.

Misti Rainwater writes of tarot in Zero Bueno, particularly of the falling tower, & I also take my understanding here from but way beyond that of Crowley, who adopts a bog standard reading of Siva as language as destruction. Crowley’s two interpretations – pure destruction & sheer perfection – are the same. Shiv is the mask, the masquerade, one of the 1008 names of Kali as Dark Mother, as AllMother, without partner or peer – goddess black & nameless & faceless. Consciousness is empty & linguistically inflected, infected, dead. The male is without grounding or foundation. Intensity is Mother is life is energy is fire is without words & is not measurable or commensurable, it can only be touched intuitively by the understanding through Her grace. Poetry should be libidinal economics, a scream & ecstasy fire dripping fingers forever; nothing else matters. The tower as it falls orgasm is Aries saying “fuck this” because concerning that of which we may not speak we scream as loud as possible. Becoming beast, falling voluntarily back into fragments & the fire, is how I am now & only Her fire perdures.

The only health in the past history is the relationship with the son, & the chapter that mentions the tower in the tarot & Crowley's reading of it explains to the son why the author departed Texas abruptly. Because I am fire, & her life in Texas was death. The judgment card, however, is another card directly related to goddess, it is only karma that judges, & goddess takes our karma from us if it pleases Her. 

The resolution in Zero Bueno is to work assiduously in the tropics beneath the frigate birds, thieving cunts that they are, & to slowly realise that I decide if she’s a good girl or not because she is now safe from her parents, like nobody else ever could keep her safe because I am a man & they were not. The book is excellent & purges the USA & Texas in particular. Buy it.
